Confidence comes not from always being right but from not fearing to be wrong. ~Peter T. Mcintyre

Confidence comes not from always being right but from not fearing to be wrong.
 ~Peter T. Mcintyre

Fears can be a pretty big part of life.   Fears can stop you from taking action on every level and aspect of your life.  There are clinically diagnosed fears, situational fears and there are the everyday fears and anxieties.   Things like judgement of others and self.   Not meeting your own expectations or what you perceive as the expectations of others.

This quote really speaks to a concept that can make a marked change in one's outlook on life.   What if it was OK to make a mistake, or not be the absolute best (that's a value judgement), or accepted yourself for who you are?

Confidence is a wonderful thing.  It gives you the permission to take action and know that if even if things don't go exactly as you intended, you have the ability to take action again.....learning along the way that you can make a change, you can gain new knowledge and skills, and that you can accept yourself.

Let's not forget that the little emotions are the great captains of our lives and we obey them without realizing it. ~Vincent Van Gogh, 1889

Webster's definition:   Emotions are a conscious mental reaction (such as anger or fear) subjectively experienced as a strong feeling usually directed toward a specific object and typically accompanied by physiological and behavioral changes in the body.

All feelings are good, as a natural part of our physiology:
Dr. Pert, PhD feels that emotions (dark or light), should not be ignored, banished or suppressed and that there is harm in doing so.  Through acknowledgement  and integration to our lives, these emotions can not ambush us.
She says that, "There are no bad emotions ...only ones that are stuck (suppressed or denied)" and the suppression of these emotions will lead to a loss of cellular integrity (function, communication and production) both biologically and psychologically.  That loss of integrity presents itself in many forms in the body/mind ..dis-ease, pain, limiting beliefs or discomfort.

Unsticking those emotions through emotionally based methods such as bodywork, guided imagery, hypnosis, energy medicine and EFT gives you the freedom to your live your life authentically.

Emotion is "the flow of information perceived to be essential for the survival of any particular state of consciousness making the observation"   Everything you Need to Feel Go(o)d   p.233
